The World Oral Health Day campaign in New Zealand focused on teaching children about teeth and its importance. it was a reinvent of the traditional colouring- in competition with a modern twist. The activity entailed a colouring in picture of a child and an endangered bat (with teeth) that's native to New Zealand. The is colouring- in activity was supplemented with a basic oral health themed " fill in the blanks" quiz. There was also a lesson plan designed for teachers to use in their classrooms as a learning resource. To make the activities more appealing prizes were up for grabs.
