NOHP Puducherry - Oral awareness session conducted for the Wellbaby Clinic at AAM - USHC - JJ Nagar

An Oral Screening and trearment camp was conducted at Urban Sub Health Centre , JJ Nagar, Moolakkulam, on 27-01-2026 to promote community oral health. The program included general oral screening and dental check-ups for the public. Awareness on oral hygiene and dental care was provided using dental models and banners.Brushing techniques demonstrations to help participants understand proper brushing techniques and preventive practices. A tobacco awareness talk was also delivered to educate the public on the harmful effects of tobacco on oral health. In addition, special oral hygiene instructions were given to mothers attending the _well-baby_ clinic, emphasizing early dental care for children. Overall, the camp was beneficial, with nearly *53* participants receiving guidance and screening services.
