NOHP Puducherry - Oral health awareness and dental check up for high school students at Kombakkam

A  Dental Health Program was conducted at the Government High School, Kombakkam on 21/01/26. The program aimed to promote oral health awareness among students and encourage healthy dental practices from an early age.
   Oral screening was carried out for Class VI students to identify dental problems such as dental caries and gum diseases. Students found with dental issues were advised and referred for further treatment. An interactive session on oral hygiene was conducted, during which proper brushing techniques were demonstrated using posters and dental models. The students actively participated and gained valuable knowledge about maintaining good oral health. Nearly _45_ students benefitted from the program.
