NOHP Puducherry - Oral screening and Awareness program for ANC Mothers at AAM - Murungapakkam

Oral health awareness and dental check-up were conducted for the general public at *AAM – Murungapakkam* on 21/1/26. An oral health education session was delivered to emphasize the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene, early detection of dental problems, and prevention of oral diseases. Special attention was given to antenatal *(ANC)* mothers, highlighting the significance of oral care during pregnancy for both mother and child. Tobacco awareness was also provided to educate the public about the harmful effects of tobacco use and the benefits of quitting. Dental screening was carried out, and individuals with dental issues were referred for further treatment. Overall, nearly _63_ beneficiaries received services during the program
